Scented candles – breathe in the toxins

This article discusses the dangers of using traditional candles on a regular basis and the toxins they released into the air. It goes on to list better options like soy and beeswax candles.

I love the authors opening paragraph: “I’ll admit- sometimes, I wish I could climb back into my years of ignorance is bliss and forget everything I’ve learned about real food and natural living.” So true. There is so much information being uncovered lately about the dangers all around us. You can’t unlearn this stuff and while it can be overwhelming at times, it’s better to have the knowledge than to continue to be in the dark. Small changes is all that you need to do to make a big impact.

One change I have made is switching to Mrs. Meyers soy candles. I think I’ll try beeswax next per the authors recommendation.
