I finally did it! I brushed my teeth with activated charcoal powder! It was awesome!
I bought loose activated charcoal from Amazon and dipped a toothbrush (not my regular brush) in it and then brushed gently for three minutes and afterward my teeth were noticeably whiter, but equally as awesome – they were as smooth as they are after a dental cleaning and polish! It doesn’t last more than a couple days, but it’s good for maintenance and to rid your teeth of stains. Be careful though – it can be messy and stains, but if you stand over the sink you should have no issue.

As far as safety goes, it’s safe to ingest – in fact, it’s often taken in capsule form to help rid the body of unwanted substances. I started doing this too! I think I like it, but it’s too early to give a full endorsement lol
The only safety concern with brushing is whether or not it’s so abrasive that it can damage enamel. For that reason I plan to keep my new obsession in check and only do it 2-3x a week.
